I had just stepped into the bath, a daily ritual of sorts, or perhaps more of a treat; a hot bubble bath and a good book to read. I had patched up my crumbling copy of The Third Eye by Lobsang Rampa with a few strips of navy blue electrical tape and a strip of packing tape to hold it all together. With a little bit of tape to secure the loose page that slipped out when I opened the cover, it would be as good as new, I thought, glad to have hung on to this work.
While our lives are not determined by the numbers, they do stand by us, like helpers, their function being to promote a better understanding of our circumstances and of ourselves. Each number reflects certain attributes or traits, and these can at times become unbalanced. When found in abundance in the personal numbers, the traits of a number may become exaggerated. When a number is lacking and then encountered along the life journey, a person may feel ill equipped to deal with circumstances in this unfamiliar climate.
They say that on St. Patrick’s Day, everyone is Irish! But, is everyone lucky? It is also said that we make our own luck, but, what exactly does that mean? To my understanding, it is those people who take advantage of their resources, skills, assets and trends that are the most successful, or that appear to be the most “lucky.” Essentially, success is more a matter of self knowledge and self respect than about luck.
It’s Monday, but you’re not sure how to start off the week. Somehow, you don’t feel the same as you did Monday of last week, nor the week before. So, what’s up? Let’s see if we can avoid the Monday morning blues and start the week right by being in harmony with our numbers.
Finally made it through the year! 2015 was for me a number 3 Personal Year, and in numerology, the 3 is the number of creativity, joy, sociability and communications, but also chaos and distractions. Because of its chaotic and distracting tone, I like to refer to the 3 as the ego’s favourite number. Being more comfortable with structure, orderliness and productivity, I was quite eager and relieved once 2016 kicked in.
Illumination, inspiration and heightened intuition are commonly sited attributes of the number 11. However, in working with hundreds of clients, I have found that the energy of the 11 can be difficult to manifest in a healthy and productive manner in a world that seems physical and limited. In fact, more often than not, those with the number 11 among their core numbers (name or birth date) often express its negative traits before tapping into the number’s positive attributes.
We are always eager to get started once we have turned the page on one more year gone by, anxious to explore what the New Year holds in store. The best way to start the New Year on the right foot is to consider your starting point. If you have begun to use numerology for insights into your life journey, you may already know your Personal Year number…
