In honour of the good news&#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/fieldroast.com\/field-roast-coming-back-canada\/\" target=\"_blank\">Field Roast has returned to Canada<\/a>!&#8211;I pulled one of my precious sausages out of the freezer and made one of my favourite dishes: bean stew!<\/p>\n<p>Grains &amp; beans constitute everyday fare for me, and let me tell you that everyday fare needn&#8217;t be dull or boring. By the same token, delicious and exciting dishes needn&#8217;t be complicated to make. This dish is so simple to make that it doesn&#8217;t require a recipe, but I have one, just in case: <a title=\"Black Bean Stew\" href=\"http:\/\/www.paulineedward.com\/inthekitchen\/black-bean-stew\/\">Black Bean Stew<\/a>. Just replace the black beans with pinto beans, or any bean of your choice! I used a hot &amp; spicy chipotle sausage for this stew.
